The next regular meeting of the Electra City Commission is scheduled for Tuesday, April 28 at 5:30 pm. Once the agenda has been formally posted it will be available here

City Commission meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. April 14 is the next scheduled meeting date.





Emergency repairs at the Electra Substation that required a city-wide outage has been successfully completed. Thank you for your patience.

Spring Clean-up Ends This Weekend
The annual Spring Clean-up ends April 25.

During this week:
-Extra dumpsters have been placed at the Fairgrounds for 24/7 access.
-The Paper Pig will be here Saturday, April 25 to shred valuable papers from the residents to protect their identity. They will shredding on site in the Pilgrim Bank parking lot from 9 am to Noon.
-Main Street Downtown Clean-up will be held Saturday, April 25 beginning at 9 am. Dumpsters placed in the downtown area for the convenience of the downtown businesses. The Chamber will be open offering donuts and coffee to get the day started.

Main Street Annual Golf Tournament
Saturday, June 6, the Main Street Advisory Board will host the annual golf tournament at Crooked Creek Golf Course. Proceeds go toward funding projects in Electra's Downtown Historical District.

Early Voting Starts Monday, April 27
If you would like to cast your vote early for the May 9 election, you can do so by visiting City Hall during regular business hours beginning April 27.
