Welcome to Electra, Texas, home to approximately 2,800 residents, plus several hundred in the neighboring towns of Harrold and Haynesville (Punkin Center). We’re in Wichita County, just south of the Red River in North Texas, home to a first-class hospital and great schools. The logo of our Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture is "Cattle, Crude, and Combines", referring to the three primary industries of the area, cattle ranching, oil production, and farming. If you have plans to be in this area for a while, enjoy your visit. But if you're looking for a place to call home while surrounded by good folks, you may have just ended your search.
