The City of Electra is the primary electric provider within the City limits and is the sole provider of water and sewer utilities. The City contracts with IESI for trash service and Atmos Energy has natural gas service available to most homes. Cable and Satellite Television are available, and Broadband Internet Service may be obtained through Electra Telephone and from several other providers. Residents of the City may contact City Hall to make changes or establish service for Water, Sewer, Electric and Garbage utilities. For natural gas, telephone and television connections, the customer should contact those vendors directly.
